The Persistent Player

At the core of CP Library is its great user experience interacting with sermons on your website. One of the features that sets CP Library apart from other sermon plugins is its persistent player. The persistent player gives users the ability to continue to navigate your site while experiencing seamless audio and video playback. This can help to increase user retention and visit length.

When a user plays a sermon from any list view, the player will immediately open and start playback in the bottom right of the screen. Any subsequent sermons started will replace the player with the new sermon player.

Mobile View

When viewing a sermon on its information page, playing the audio or video will initially start it in the content window next to the title. However, you have the option to transfer it to the persistent player by clicking the mini player icon. If you navigate away from the sermon page when playback is running, the persistent player will launch automatically.
